I really hate mammograms, and for the record, haven't had one for several years. Here is something I took from the Wild Harvest newsgroup (Young Living Oils) posted on October 2nd by Jeff Kaplan, a RMT, RN and Essential Oils Distributor/User. He is wise and hilarious:
Favor to ask, it only takes a minute….
Please tell ten friends to tell ten today! The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on 'donating a mammogram' for free (pink window in the middle).
On the other hand, why would you want to donate to a procedure that CAUSES breast cancer?
Radiation causes the genes in the breast tissue to mutate. Mutations are what happens when the DNA is changed. Cancer cells are from abnormal cells that have had their DNA mutated. Mutations are caused by a lack of oxgyen, and radiation. Fruit fly mutations are studied extensively. Fruit fly mutations are caused by radiation.
Compare a mammogram to a thermogram
Mammograms involve putting delicate breast tissue under 50 psi, and can spread an existing tumor. If you have ever thought about getting your breasts reshaped into pancakes, this is the way to go.
Thermograms utilize healing far infrared light, and can detect breast tumors much earlier than a mammogram, without squeezing them like a vice. They are far safer, and more effective at detection. Far infrared radiation is also healing to the body-the very opposite of the radiation used in a mammogram clinic.
This doesn't cost you a thing. [HealthiaCynthia's note: In Canada, where thermography is not presently widely available– probably because the mammographers are still paying off their expensive old machines– there is a cost for a thermogram… but it is quite reasonable and well worth it!]
Why go to the clinic and get it done free? See if your toolbox has a pair of vice grips and use those for free-or better yet, see if your husband has a workbench with a built in vice. This will work very well. You can stay home, and not have to spend the time, or gas money, and you can do it in the privacy of your own home, or condo, or apt.
For effect, you can shine a flashlight on your breasts. This is much safer than having a nurse direct radiation at your them.
Their corporate sponsors /advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising. Idea! Cut down on corporate advertising by cutting down on mammograms!
Mammograms are another screening procedure, to get breast cancer diagnosed woman, into the medical merry go round of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy.
This is major megabucks for the medical people. Cancer drugs, ie. anti-neoplastics, cost tens of thousands. They are like mustard gas which was used in WWI. This is not moral, its not Biblical, its not ethical, and its not good for your body. It is only good for the profits of the drug companies, and hospitals.
I say, Stay away from people in white, who are looking to chop off, slice off, or cut off your breasts. Keep your breasts! God gave them to you for a reason-that little baby needs them. You need them. Your husband needs them. Breast cancer can also be completely cleared up, without surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy. See http://www.drday.com/
Women who don't want to submit to radical mastectomies ought to form, Believers in Research, Education, and Availability of Sufficient Thermography Units in Place, or BREAST UP.
I would also put in a plug for breast flushing. For more information, see http://www.jessicawild.com/ This procedure is done by a trained and licensed massage therapist. It gently flushes or removes toxins, including acids, and chemicals, and gets the lymph flowing, to help facilitate that process. It cleans out the toxins, along with therapeutic grade essential oils. What a contrast to having more poisonous chemicals added on top of chemicals, and then going to the chopping block in the O.R.!
There is plenty of information that we are not told about!
Don't let the words, "unproven" deter you, or propagandize you. ALL medical procedures are unproven, except they are proven to put more money into the drug cartel's pockets.
Consider not going out to look for a disease. Instead, consider making your whole body healthier, by eating healthier. Try not to be bamboozled into eating junk food full of chemicals, and taking drugs, drugs, drugs. Try not to be roped into slathering sunscreen on your body, that is full of chemicals. Try not to use underarm anti -perspirants that are loaded with toxic aluminum, and which are a major cause of breast tumors. Use nontoxic underarm deodorants instead. You can find them. If you need help, call me, or write me.
If you want to be healthier, don't believe this propaganda about mammagrams. Its a SCAM. Call it "scamagrams" .
See the web site below at the bottom of this page. Pass it along to people you know.
This site is great for information regarding thermograms.
Its in the Pacific NW. For local thermography information, go to The Silver Center, in Fort Myers, FL. Dean Silver, M.D. is the physician. He cares about your health, not about making a huge profit off of you, or anybody else.
There is a place on the east coast of FL also, that is owned by a YL distributor! I can give you the information upon request. For a local thermography clinic, type in "breast thermography" in your browser.
Remember the ban your bra, or burn your bra protests of the 60's? Well, there is plenty of research to show that wearing a bra too much, and too often, besides one that is too tight, constricts circulation. It cuts off blood supply, thereby cutting off oxgyen supply to your breasts. Start making it a habit to take off your bra as soon as you get home from work. Make sure the kids aren't standing there in front of you.
In addition, use Young Living Essential Oils on your breast/chest, instead of using the above named chemicals!
Jeff

AGAIN, PLEASE TELL 10 FRIENDS TO TELL 10 TODAY
The other night (Saturday night, actually) a kind friend had a number of us over for a sort of 'music night'. He himself is an organist and the 'salon' is taken up mostly with a fine instrument. But these music nights just consist of each of us bringing along a favourite CD and having clips played from it by our host. It's a little educational, but it is mostly social. This same friend also belongs to a writers' group. In all, he is a most inspiring and motivating person! And, most important, he is KIND. I hope you know someone like that.

Contrary to popular belief, as people age, they do not automatically lose their ability to learn new things. According to Dr. Monte S, Buchsbaum, director of the Neuroscience PET Laboratory at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, there are no significant physical or functional differences between a twenty-five-year-old brain and a seventy-five year-old brain. While most people realize that daily exercise is important to keep their bodies young and healthy, they fail to recognize that their brain also needs exercise to maintain its youthfulness. Like weak muscles, brains become lazy and lethargic when they do not receive a regular workout. Medical research has found that while a healthy diet and physical exercise play a significant role in stimulating brain function and regeneration, mental exercises are much more important for keeping the brain youthful. Simple mental exercises can include things like memorizing a poem, doing crossword puzzles, and playing word games like Scrabble. Daily mental challenges will keep your brain alert and young, especially when you try things that you have never done before. "Read, read, read," says Dr. Amir Soas of Case Western Reserve University Medical School in Cleveland, as a way to exercise your brain. Start a new hobby or learn to speak a foreign language; do anything that causes the brain to think. Also, watch less television because "your brain goes into neutral," he said. Recent brain studies show that even social interaction plays a vital role in maximizing the effectiveness of mental skills. To stay young mentally, mingle! Renowned brain researcher, Dr. Marian Diamond found that whether we are young or old, we can continue to learn and our brains can improve. In fact, older minds may have an advantage over younger ones. She discovered that highly developed neurons respond better to intellectual enrichment than less developed ones. Research on the physical results of thinking has shown that using the brain actually increases the number of dendritic branches that interconnect brain cells. The more we think, the better our brains function– regardless of age. Your brain is a thinking organ that learns and grows by interacting with the world through perception and action. The human brain is able to continually adapt and rewire itself. Even in old age, it can grow new neurons. Severe mental decline is usually caused by by disease, whereas most age-related losses in memory or motor skills simply result from inactivity and a lack of mental exercise and stimulation. In other words, when it comes to your brain, use it or lose it.
In the morning, before you get up, move your toes vigorously up and down several times. Wiggling your toes activates nerves that stimulate your brain and internal organs. Do this exercise first thing each morning or after sitting for an extended period. It will help you to wake up and your whole body will feel pleasantly energized. We have all the felt the effects of sleep deprivation: that zombie-like feeling that consumes us the moment we roll out of bed. Our eyes are heavy, we can't think straight, everything in a blur. Like mechanical robots, we go about our day not fully comprehending what is going on around us.
The negative effects of sleep deprivation are quickly becoming an alarming issue. According to the National Sleep Foundation's 2002 Sleep in America poll, 58 percent of adults in the US experience symptoms of insomnia several nights a week.
Sleep-deprived individuals find it hard to concentrate or feel productive during the day. Perhaps worst of all, more and more are driving drowsy. In fact, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates that 100,000 of reported crashes occur as a result of drowsiness.
Young Living Essential Oils feels strongly about promoting good sleep. Not only is it mandatory for mental health and normal functioning, but it's pertinent for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. That is why we offer products that promote restful sleep.
Single essential oils such as valerian, spikenard, and lavender are known for their ability to relax, calm, and emotionally ground a person. I'm sitting here at the computer with a little smile on my face.
(well something like that). I have recently joined up with the Internet's answer to the flesh-pressing schmoozy Networking clubs… Facebook.com I had received a few invitations over time and originally had thought that it would be one of those frustrating experiences where you go to join up and then find that no one you know is using the service, and it costs $9.99 a month. Not so! It's a free service AND I know quite a few people who are drifting and meandering on through the ether– actually, I have 74 Facebook "Friends" and many more to come. hehehehe.
I have had a couple of really outstanding Facebook experiences. For a few years I have been trying to track down a friend of mine who used to live in Vancouver's Lower Mainland when we did. Then we fell out of connection….maybe, thirty years ago, when we moved to Saskatchewan. Well, I looked up their surname on Facebook, and while I didn't actually find my friend, herself, I DID find her daughter. And she hooked us up. It turns out that my friend moved to England in 1999. Our phone chat today seemed like the years hadn't even happened…. you know. My other great thrill is in having all my family's "faces", along with my good friends', children of friends', and even RICK MERCER, all on my page at the same time.
I know that Facebook is really designed for the 20- and 30-somethings, but gosh, I'm enjoying it too! Thanks kids!

Since 2004, over 4 Million people have decorated their walls with fabulous posters like the "Friends" poster above… you can too! Go here to find out how.
