Making a Green Smoothie (Video)

Filed under: Uncategorized by healthiacynthia on October 15, 2006 5:31 pm

No this is not the Green Smoothie that I made– but it does show a guy who has apparently lost over 40# on a smoothie-raw food diet over the past couple of months.  Sounds good to me… lasts for 4 minutes.  I KNOW that these smoothies taste delicious… no kidding… they become addictive! And I suggest that you make RED Green Smoothies for an EXTRA bit of healthfulness– add just 2 oz. of NingXia Red to the mix!   Just click on the Kale below (might take a couple of minutes to load, but it is worth it!):

  1. I’ve hear a lot about the health benefits of smoothies. They’re full of antioxidants which kill free radicals and can help repair DNA.

I’ll see about giving the recipe to my mum, it might help her to shift those few lbs.

  2. Right you are, April– the Green Smoothie will help your Mom shift the lbs… and they are delicious/nutritious to boot. If you or your Mom would like to receive some additional ideas (basically 60% fruit and 60% greens), you can try some of the recipes that I’ve archived from my Smoothie Moves newsletters at my Raw Genesis site and/or sign up for the Smoothie Moves free newsletter for recipes and other miscellany related to high anti-oxidant health and awareness.
    To your health!
